At Cyrus Kids, students are highly encouraged to become owners of their learning in order to improve their self-confidence and self-esteem and retain knowledge over time.

Maliheh Barazesh founded Cyrus Kids in 2019 to teach Persian to those interested in learning the language and the Persian culture, particularly children. Maliheh’s experiences of working with children with a range of abilities and learning modalities have allowed her to create learning environments to engage all students. Cyrus Kids offers a variety of teaching methods that include using songs, music, games and other interactive activities. Maliheh has a vast experience of teaching the Persian language and culture, and has taught at several educational establishments such as community colleges and K-12 public schools. Maliheh holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature, and a Master’s degree in Family Studies.
